During this class students can expect to learn Shannon's fine-art style, starting with a more simple in-studio look. As the week progresses the class will transition into learning small compositing, and then ultimately work on a full composite image. The true artist within you gets a chance to explore the limitless possibilities 'just waiting to happen'.in this weeklong journey into creativity. Come ready to learn and take a deep dive into Photoshop SHANNON will guide you, and inspire you, to create one-of-a-kind masterpieces from your photographs.

  • Fine art listing posing and styling
  • Transitioning a simple portrait into a fine art portrait
  • Adding small compositing to a fine art image
  • Compositing a full scene
  • Creating shadows and light in Photoshop
  • Portrait painting
  • tricks, tips and techniques to make you a better artist.

Students should bring:
  • camera
  • portrait lens
  • card reader
  • laptop with updated Photoshop
  • chargers
  • power cords
  • and anything you would normally use to edit with---
  • Wacom or other kind of tablet with with stylus and drivers installed
  • hard drives
  • a great spirit and willingness to learn
