ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Jenn is an award-winning portrait photographer based in Clemmons, North Carolina who concentrates on high school seniors and headshots. She began her photography business 19 years ago as a “mom with a camera”. With a determined work ethic and tenacious personality, she grew her part-time business from her living room to her full-time 2000 square foot studio while multiplying her sales average by 10. Jenn has earned her CPP and Photographic Craftsman degree with PPA.
ABOUT THE CLASS
Headshots aren’t just photos – they’re opportunities. In this course, Jenn will show you how to make headshots work for your business, whether your client is submitting for a casting call or updating their executive image.
We’ll cover everything from marketing and pre-session prep to helping clients feel confident in front of the camera, shooting for expression and authority, and selling your work without feeling “salesy”. Plus, you’ll get plenty of hands-on shooting experience with live models and learn retouching techniques so your final images are polished, professional, and market-ready. By the end, you’ll have a system that helps you book smarter, shoot with intention, and actually grow your headshot business.
