This Full Scholarship to M.A.R.S. was established in 2025 in honor of
professional photographer Victor Bosier of Laurel, Md.
Victor was smitten with photography in the early 2000s. It grew from a
casual hobby into his passion and calling. Victor was a dedicated student
of photography, and an active member of the International Monetary Fund
Camera club, local camera clubs, the PPA, and a regular attendee at MARS.
Victor was committed to developing, and sharing, his talent for the craft.
Indeed, Victor loved being around others who shared his passion, and was
a selfless mentor to novices and professionals alike.
Victor was a generous person with a caring spirit. He was a great family
man, a devoted husband, and proud father. On September 2, 2024, at the
age of 59, Victor passed.
In his honor, and to cherish his memory, his wife Tanya wishes to continue
his legacy through the Victor D. Bosier Memorial Scholarship, as an appropriate
memorial to Victor's passion for the art, and his interest in helping
fellow photographers.
This prestigious scholarship offers full double occupancy tuition to the
upcoming MARS session. It will be awarded to a worthy candidate.
