For scholarship assistance, you must submit a written letter to the Scholarship Committee. Certain scholarships have selection criteria. Please click on each scholarship name to review the information required for that particular scholarship. Only one scholarship per person. Scholarships cannot be combined with any other discounts, assistantships or rewards.
DEADLINE FOR ALL SCHOLARSHIPS (except the Milt Techner) IS DECEMBER 1, 2011. Recipients will be notified by JANUARY 31, 2012 which will allow time to take advantage of the monthly payment plan.
The Milt Techner Memorial Scholarship
This is a full tuition scholarship for the 2013 MARS session for the class of your choice, room (double-room occupancy) and all scheduled meals. Applications should be mailed before April 20, 2012. Applications may also be handed in to the Registrar at the "Command Center" during the MARS 2012 Session before noon on Thursday May 10, 2012 to be considered. The winner will be announced at the MARS Banquet on Thursday evening.
The Robert F. Young Jr. Memorial Scholarship
One full-tuition scholarship will be awarded toward the study of Digital Photography.
It includes room (single occupancy) and all scheduled meals to the MARS 2012 Session.
The Rich Roberts Memorial Scholarship
A $1000 scholarship will be awarded for the 2012 MARS session.
The Morton A. Sobin Memorial Scholarship
Three $500 scholarships will be awarded by PPANJ, the Professional Photographers of New Jersey.
Applicant must be a current member in good standing with thte state organization, and submit entry letter
explaining the need for a scholarship and how it would be beneficial. Include your full name,
and forward letter to -

PPA/MARS $500 Scholarships
Up to TWO $500 Scholarships will be awarded to the 2012 session.
Applicants must be a current member of the PPA (Professional Photographers of America), but for less than three years.
MARS $350 Scholarships
These scholarships will help provide photographers the opportunity to enhance their photographic knowledge and skills,
learning from some of the finest talents in the photographic industry.
Several scholarships in the amount of $350 may be awarded to selected applicants.
Susan B Hudson $250 Scholarship
A $250 scholarship will be awarded for the 2012 MARS session. Awarded to a partner or spouse of a photographer.
