Spend the first half of your week (Sunday night through Tuesday evening) with the globe-traveling Rick Sammon.
Join world renowned scenic and nature photographer Rick Sammon for what will begin an amazing week of scenic photography at MARS. Rick's topics will include
how to photograph in the great outdoors, capturing scenic locations and the beauty of nature itself. As one of Canon’s explorers of light mentors,
Rick will share with you how to take your photography to the next level with your digital and HDR photography.
THEN
spend the second half of your week (Wednesday through Friday morning) with the always inspiring Tony Sweet.
Tony has authored four books on the art of photography, and his work is published worldwide in every medium.
Tony's class will include scenic location shooting, macro, and HDR imagery, to instructional presentations, image processing, and student critiques.
Through digital manipulation, Tony will show you how to put the finishing touches on your final images.
Applications that will be demonstrated are nik software (Vivesa, Colorefex Pro, Silverefex Pro), Alien Skin, Lucispro, and Topaz.
Students should bring:
- Computer capable or running Photoshop CS5 and Adobe Lightroom
- Any power accessories not supplied by MARS (Power strips, extensions, etc)
- Graphics tablets (Wacom) any size
- Cameras for the shooting sessions
- Trial versions of most, if not all, of the software Tony uses are available online.
